Adaptation & Collaboration Conference online February 19–20, 2026: Program and Registration Open
The Literature/Film Association and the Association of Adaptation Studies will host their fifth joint online conference, Adaptation & Collaboration, on February 19–20, 2026. This two-day event brings together leading academics from around the world to explore how adaptation intersects with race, gender, technology, and creative partnerships.
The LFA-AAS 2026 program features 13 sessions covering diverse themes—from transcultural feminisms and political struggle to AI-driven adaptation and game worlds. Highlights include panels on algorithmic adaptors, examining artificial intelligence in literary and film adaptation, and global IP and transnational media collaboration, addressing brand narratives and audience engagement. The conference also spotlights innovative pedagogy and collaborative practices in adaptation studies.
