AAS Board 2025-2028 Elections – Results

We are pleased to announce the results of our recent election for the AAS Board 2025-2028. We had 16 candidates put themselves forward for nomination and we are pleased to announce that after voting, the members of the AAS Board for 2025-2028 will be Colleen Kennedy-Karpat, Christina Wilkins, Kristen Figgins, Seda Öz, Liam Burke, Anna Gutowska, Madeleine Hunter and Moni Razavi.

The new board has met and nominated the following board members to the roles below:

Chairs: Colleen Kennedy-Karpat and Christina Wilkins

Treasurer: Christina Wilkins and Seda Öz

Secretary: Kristen Figgins

Membership Secretary: Madeleine Hunter

Webmaster: Liam Burke

Social Media Officer: Colleen-Kennedy Karpat

We would also like to offer a special congratulations to Moni Razavi, who has been elected as our first Postgraduate Student Member. One of the new board's first acts will be to amend the AAS constitution to enshrine this position in future board elections.
